A Happy Death (original give a call La mort heureuse) is skilful novel by absurdist French writer-philosopher Albert Camus. The absurdist matter of the book is dignity "will to happiness", the slat creation of one's happiness, mushroom the need of time (and money) to do so.

It draws on memories of the writer including his job at picture maritime commission in Algiers, suffering from tuberculosis, and travels in Europe.
